How to find a VTPA license in Virginia?
I have an NVPA license and I was told by someone at the Virginia State Police that it is not available for the license I am currently using.
I contacted the VA Police at 703-864-6100, and they told me to call them back and get it, so I did.
After I called back, the person who answered said, “Well, it looks like that is not the case.
You need to check with the VSP to see if you have a VTSA license.”
I told them that I do not have one, and the person then said that it was not possible to get an NVSA license.
So, I am trying to figure out how to get my license back.
Does that mean that I am not allowed to use VTSA licenses in Virginia for medical purposes?
If you do not get an answer, please let me know.
I also contacted the VTSA, VA, and other licensing agencies, but they did not have any answer.

Is there a way to get a VT APL license in VA?
Yes, but you need to contact the VA to get one.
The VA does not provide information about how to apply for a license, or where to go get one, because the VA does so through its website.
But if you need help, please contact them and ask them to contact their local VSP.
They can direct you to the nearest VSP office.
